2025 Competition Info

The 2025 Taxidermy Competition will be held on the 27-28th September. 

Details of the 2025 competition are yet to be confirmed. Below is the 2024 schedule to give an indication of what the 2025 schedule may look like. 

Schedule September 2024

  • 25th - All day seminar conducted by the USA judge

  • 26th - Set up for the show at the Taupo Arts Centre

  • 27th - Competition entries must be in by 12.00 and judging commences at 1.00pm

  • 28th - Open to the public

  • 29th - Open to the public & AGM to be held at the Taupo Arts Centre

General Information

  • You must be a member to compete

  • New members are very much welcome from novice to master

  • $5 donation for public entry, under 14's are free

The 2024 Judge

 

Jacob Clark:

 

Jacob is a Multi-award winning master taxidermist with over 30 years experience.  He is very experienced in teaching seminars, judging taxidermy competitions at State, National and World championship taxidermy conventions.

 

Jake is the owner of Jakes Taxidermy from 1991 to the present and has been judging taxidermy competitions since 2012.

Seminars

 

  • We will be holding (2) full day seminars run by the USA judge, (1) in the North Island and (1) in the South Island for our South Island membership
