ANNUAL TAXIDERMY COMPETITION
Competition
The New Zealand Taxidermy Association conducts its annual competition in Taupo typically on the last weekend of September.
The competition displays an array of creative taxidermy mounts by novice through to Master Taxidermists from across New Zealand and also Overseas competitors.
Judging for the competition is typically undertaken by an American Judge whom is a world champion in their own right.

Seminars are run in conjunction with the annual competition and these are conducted by our overseas judge whom in most cases is a world champion in their own right.
The seminar topics can cover a wide variety of topics and principally focus on the specific skills and expertise of the judge.
These seminars are open to non-members whom wish to learn taxidermy skills.
