About the event
The 2025 NZTA Taxidermy Competition is for taxidermists of all levels of experiences, from Juniors and Novices to Masters. Competitors submit a piece of work, and our very experienced judges score the mount against other mounts. Competitors compete in categories for example mammals (not limited too). They also compete within different skill levels for example novices compete with other novices.
Competitors can submit their work from early on Thursday the 25th 9:30am to 5pm or on Friday the 26th.
We also have our US judge (Page Nethercutt) running a workshop that our members can attend on Saturday 27th 9:30 am to 4pm
The entries are all available for the public to view for a small donation, Viewings from: Saturday 27th 10am-4pm and Sunday 28th 11am-3pm
